Bac Ninh honors exemplary businessmen and enterprises

At the conference, on behalf of the leaders of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan commended and expressed gratitude for the tireless efforts, creativity, innovation, bravery and high social responsibility of all enterprises, entrepreneurs, business associations, business associations, and organizations representing the business community in the province.

Over the past years, despite facing many fluctuations in the world economy , natural disasters, epidemics, tariff conflicts and increasingly fierce competitive pressure, Bac Ninh has remained steadfast in its goal of sustainable growth, maintaining its position as one of the leading dynamically developing localities in the country with the great and persistent contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs.

Thanks to that, Bac Ninh's economy has achieved many important results, becoming one of the leading provinces in the country. In the first 9 months of 2025, GRDP growth reached 10.12%; industrial production value reached over 1.7 million billion VND, up 15.3%; export turnover exceeded 65.7 billion USD, up 26.4%, ranking 2nd in the country; newly established over 5,400 enterprises; attracted more than 4.8 billion USD of FDI capital, ranking 2nd in the country...

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the whole province currently has more than 33,500 operating enterprises, contributing over 53% of the total domestic budget revenue, creating stable jobs for hundreds of thousands of workers, and actively participating in social, humanitarian and charitable work. Based on the achieved results, it can be affirmed that the business community and entrepreneurs of Bac Ninh province are the central and mainstay force, contributing significantly to the new appearance and new stature of Bac Ninh today - a developed, dynamic, integrated and promising industrial locality.

This once again clearly affirms the spirit of Resolution No. 68 NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development, considering private economic development as the most important driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy. Bac Ninh is a vivid demonstration of that correct policy, when the business community and entrepreneurs have become the core force, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

Sharing about the development goals in the coming time, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized that the first Congress of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, has determined the strategic goal of turning Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city before 2030 and by 2045, a green, civilized city with strong Kinh Bac cultural identity. The province prioritizes three strategic breakthroughs: institutional and policy breakthroughs; human resource breakthroughs; infrastructure breakthroughs. Emphasizing that Bac Ninh is deeply aware that if businesses develop, the province will develop, if businesses are strong, the economy and society will be stable, the Chairman of the People's Committee affirmed that the Bac Ninh provincial government is committed to always accompanying and sharing with businesses in the spirit of service and creation; promoting administrative procedure reform, digitizing the entire process, transparency and shortening processing time; enhancing thematic dialogues, receiving and promptly resolving problems for businesses; Building a team of professional, dedicated and responsible administrative staff towards people and businesses.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee called on the entire business community and entrepreneurs of Bac Ninh province to continue promoting the national spirit, arousing internal strength, improving competitiveness, firmly overcoming all difficulties and challenges; proactively adapting, seizing opportunities, and accompanying the province to realize the goal of turning Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city before 2030.

On behalf of the business community, Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam, expressed his gratitude to the leaders of Bac Ninh province and departments and branches for their continuous efforts in creating a favorable investment environment as well as supporting the production and business activities of enterprises.

In particular, during the COVID period, the province has implemented innovative policies such as "Three on-site" to prevent disruptions to businesses' supply chains and recently the province has also taken measures to provide stable electricity; improve infrastructure around factories to cope with floods; establish an FDI Enterprise Association... Samsung is committed to making every effort not only to ensure stable production and business activities but also to actively participate in local volunteer activities and future talent training activities of Bac Ninh province, becoming an enterprise that contributes more to the socio-economic development of the province," the General Director of Samsung Vietnam emphasized.

On this occasion, authorized by the President, Standing Deputy Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Huong awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to Mr. Nguyen The Hong, Director of Nam Hong Royal Museum Limited Company for his outstanding achievements in preserving national treasures; 26 typical enterprises with contributions to tax and social security received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee.
