Bac Ninh: Unity and solidarity to overcome floods

BAC NINH - In recent days, due to the impact of storm No. 10, many areas in Bac Ninh province have been flooded and isolated; water levels on rivers, especially Cau River and Thuong River, have risen, threatening the safety of dykes. In the midst of difficulties and challenges, the entire political system, officers and soldiers of the armed forces and people have urgently taken action to protect dykes, harvest agricultural products, evacuate people and property to safe places, and minimize damage.

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and provincial leaders inspected and directed the work of overcoming the consequences of floods and storms; visited and presented gifts to some households in Tien Luc commune.

With the motto of ensuring people's safety first and foremost, in urgent situations, military and police officers and soldiers are ordered to go on duty.

Regardless of difficulties and dangers to their lives, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police used ropes to bring people in Suoi Doc village (Dong Ky commune) who were isolated by floodwaters to safety.

Officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces used motorboats to take people from San village, Tien Luc commune out of the deeply flooded area.

Support people to move assets, minimize damage.

Officers and soldiers of military units and local people are racing against time to reinforce key dikes to ensure the safety of people's lives and property and the State.

With the spirit of not letting people suffer from hunger and cold due to floods, officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Region 3 - Tan Yen provided necessities and food to people in Hoang Van commune.
