Accordingly, in order to promptly share the difficulties with people in flood-hit areas, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society decided to continue allocating more than 5.7 billion VND in emergency relief, including cash and essential goods, specifically: Bac Ninh province 800 million VND and 120,000 water purifier powder packages; Cao Bang 800 million VND and 96,000 water purifier powder packages; Tuyen Quang 600 million VND and 72,000 water purifier powder packages; Thai Nguyen 800 million VND and 240,000 water purifier powder packages; Lang Son 500 million VND and 72,000 water purifier powder packages; Lao Cai 500 million VND and 72,000 water purifier powder packages; Thanh Hoa 200 million VND and 31,440 water purifier powder packages; Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Tri each province received 300 million VND in support. The funding source is taken from the "Join hands to overcome floods" campaign launched by the Central Association, through account H2025 at Vietcombank.

According to the plan on October 10 and 11, the Central working delegation of the Vietnam Red Cross Society led by Vice President Vu Thanh Luu and representatives of Vietcombank will directly go to Thai Nguyen province to visit, encourage and give relief gifts to households severely affected by natural disasters.
