Master - Doctor Le Thanh Khoi, Head of the Medical Council of the Long Chau Pharmacy System and Vaccination Center, said that the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that the Qdenga vaccine to prevent dengue fever is indicated for 2 injections 3 months apart for children from 4 years old and adults, including those who have had dengue fever before.
Injection 1: The first injection, to activate the initial immune mechanism so that the body begins to produce antibodies against the 4 serotypes of the Dengue virus.
2nd dose: A booster dose is given at least 3 months after the first dose. This booster dose helps to strengthen and enhance the immune system, increasing protection against infection and reducing the risk of hospitalization or severe illness if infected with the virus.
