Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command conducts one-sided, two-level Command-Staff exercise

Colonel Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Commander of Dak Lak Provincial Military Command, delivered the opening speech of the exercise.

Attending and directing the exercise were Colonel Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Commander of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command, concurrently Commander of the Border Guard Command, Deputy Head of the Provincial Exercise Steering Committee; Colonel Do Quang Tham, Deputy Political Commissar of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command, concurrently Political Commissar of the Border Guard Command, Deputy Head of the Provincial Exercise Steering Committee.

The exercise was attended by the Training-Mobile Battalion, Border Guard Squadron 2. During the two days, the exercise focused on command and staff work in defense operations in the context of implementing a two-level local government model, with many new points applied in accordance with the actual tasks and management areas of the border guard force.

The exercise's content emphasized the tasks and working relationships between the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee; between Border Guard Stations and the Regional Defense Command and the Military Command at the commune level where the troops are stationed.

Through that, agencies and units continue to research, supplement, and adjust their determination and combat plans; practice the order of action of commanders, agencies, and units in promptly and effectively handling possible situations, ensuring good completion of tasks in all situations.

Speaking at the opening of the exercise, Colonel Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Commander of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command, concurrently Commander of the Border Guard Command, Deputy Head of the Provincial Exercise Steering Committee, emphasized: The one-sided, two-level Command-Staff exercise on the map is an important content to continue to thoroughly grasp and apply the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, the State's policies and laws on local military, defense and border tasks; in accordance with the characteristics, functions, tasks and requirements of protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation.

Colonel Nguyen Van Linh requested the Steering Committee, the Steering Committee and the director of the Provincial Military Command to maintain, operate and direct the training frameworks closely, in accordance with the content and program, ensuring confidentiality, safety, and achieving the set goals and requirements. The training frameworks need to promote the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, coordination, and determination to successfully complete the training tasks in 2025.
