Quoc An Khai Tuong Pagoda and Tai Loc Traffic Production and Construction Company Limited supported the construction of 15 houses and 2,200 medical bags, with a total value of nearly 1.8 billion VND; Vietnam Printing Association supported 400 million VND; Ms. Thu's charity group supported 130 million VND; Ms. Van Collin and Mr. Riazz - General Director of Duxtion Hotel and overseas Vietnamese in Perth city (Western Australia), supported 128,351 million VND; Ms. Hannau Vu and the Vietnamese Student Association in Rerth (Western Australia), supported 16.7 million VND.
Among the above-mentioned units and individuals, there is the Vietnamese Women's Association in Western Australia, which donated 5,000 Australian dollars, equivalent to 83.2 million VND, this amount was deposited into the account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dong - Chairman of the Vietnam Printing Association said, upon hearing that storm No. 3 caused great damage to people in the northern localities, the Association sent a letter to members to mobilize contributions to join hands to support people.
According to Mr. Dong, in the past time, the Association has mobilized over 600 million VND. "On behalf of the Association, I have donated 400 million VND to the fund of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, the remaining amount is sent to units in the industry to send delegations to give directly to the people," Mr. Dong said.
