
In the spirit of "mutual love and support", Hanoi 's departments and branches have launched a fundraising campaign to share and support people in affected areas to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize their lives.
On the afternoon of October 10, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training held a launching ceremony to support the education and training sector of provinces and educational institutions in Hanoi that suffered damage due to storms No. 10 and No. 11.
Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong said that due to the severe impact of storms No. 10 and No. 11 in the northern provinces, especially after the circulation of storm No. 11, the northern region has experienced two large-scale heavy rains, many localities have suffered great losses in terms of people, property, and infrastructure. Many schools and classrooms were deeply flooded, landslides, and school supplies and books were severely damaged.
Promoting the tradition of solidarity, humanity and the spirit of "mutual love and support", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong called on all cadres, teachers, employees and workers in the industry to actively respond to the movement to support and donate to help people in the Northern provinces and schools and educational institutions in Hanoi that suffered damage due to storms No. 10 and No. 11 to overcome the consequences of the storm with practical items such as: Food, food, utensils, learning equipment, books, textbooks, clothes, blankets, mosquito nets, letters of encouragement...
At the launching ceremony, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Ha, a teacher at Chu Van An Secondary School in Tay Ho Ward, was moved to say that she is also a daughter of Thai Nguyen - a land that is suffering a lot of damage. Thanks to this meaningful program, teachers and students of the school can send their hearts through small gifts, equipment, school supplies, letters, postcards with messages of love to colleagues and students in the flood-affected areas. "I believe that today's gestures will not only stop at this ceremony but will continue forever with the spirit of leaving no one behind," Ms. Pham Thi Thu Ha shared.

Representing the students of the capital, Doan Lu Thuy Phuong, a student of class 8A11, Chu Van An Secondary School, wrote a letter, sending a message of love and sharing to her peers in the flood-affected areas: “My friends, the flood will recede. The mud will dry. The roads will reappear. The fields will be green again. The school drum will resound. But after all, I believe that people after natural disasters are no longer the same people as yesterday - you have become more mature, more profound, stronger, knowing how to appreciate every meal, every page of a book, every class that seemed normal but turned out to be sacred.”
Leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Board of Directors of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, along with representatives of the Department's professional departments, representatives of school clusters, managers, teachers and staff supported and sent their love and sympathy to teachers and students in the flood-affected areas. The organizing committee presented gifts in kind to representatives of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of Trung Gia commune and Da Phuc commune - two localities that suffered heavy damage due to the impact of storms No. 10 and No. 11.
Right after the Hanoi Department of Education and Training sent the campaign to schools on the morning of October 9, so far, more than 12,000 textbooks; 265,521 notebooks, 168,107 pens; 500 backpacks; 3 televisions, 3 laptops and printers, nearly 10,000 sets of clothes and many necessities, medicines, household items... The hearts, beliefs, and shared feelings of the officials, teachers, staff and students of the Capital Education sector will soon be sent to teachers and students in flood-affected areas.
On this occasion, the Hanoi Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions launched a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storms No. 10 and 11, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, promoting the tradition of "helping each other" of the Vietnamese people.

Director of the Hanoi Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Nguyen Sy Truong said that, with the spirit of "mutual love and support", the Board of Directors of the Hanoi Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions called on cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to support compatriots affected by storms and floods with a minimum of one day's salary. Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong hopes that cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers will encourage their relatives to actively participate in supporting compatriots; contributing to helping people affected by storms and floods overcome damage and soon stabilize their lives.
Immediately after collecting the donations, the Hanoi Department of Ethnic Minorities and Minorities will quickly transfer them to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, contributing to helping people in areas affected by storms, floods, and natural disasters restore production and stabilize their lives.
