Handing over gratitude houses to policy households in Tra Tan commune

DNO - On October 8, the Military Region 5 Command held the inauguration and handover of a gratitude house to the family of Ms. Ho Thi Dia, village 2, Tra Tan commune.

Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai, Commander of Military Region 5, along with leaders of the Military Region, Da Nang City Military Command, Defense Command of Region 3 - Tra My and local leaders attended.

After more than 2 months of construction, the solid level 4 house replacing the old, degraded wooden house was completed with a total cost of 150 million VND. Of which, the Military Region 5 Command supported 80 million VND; the remaining cost was contributed by family and relatives.

Ms. Ho Thi Dia (Ca Dong ethnic group) is a policy beneficiary, who participated in the civilian labor force during the resistance war; she herself was exposed to toxic chemicals, her health declined, and her circumstances were difficult. The new house helps her family have a stable place to live, and gradually improve their lives.

At the house handover ceremony, representatives of the leaders of Military Region 5, the City Military Command and the Defense Command of Region 3 - Tra My presented many gifts to Ms. Ho Thi Dia's family.
