Taking place from October 10 to 12, the first World Culture Festival in Hanoi was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hanoi People's Committee. With the motto "Culture is the foundation - Art is the means", the festival gathered 48 countries and international organizations with 45 cultural spaces, 34 food stalls, 23 domestic and foreign art troupes, 112 units introducing books and publications and 22 countries participating in the international film screening program.
Aiming to honor cultural diversity and enhance people-to-people exchange, the festival offers a variety of activities such as exhibitions, traditional art performances, fashion shows, culinary experiences, and international film screenings.
