
Accordingly, the Prime Minister requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities to direct the Department of Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with departments and branches to urgently review and compile statistics on the damage to the education sector caused by storm No. 11; proactively use local budgets, central support and other legally mobilized sources to promptly overcome the damage caused by storm No. 11, ensuring conditions for teachers, classrooms, teaching equipment, learning materials, and school hygiene for students to go to school.
The Ministry of Education and Training directs and urges the education sector of localities to review and proactively advise local Party committees and authorities to direct and mobilize forces and resources to quickly repair educational institutions affected by natural disasters; have timely plans to support books, teaching equipment, and learning materials for educational institutions damaged by natural disasters to quickly restore and ensure learning conditions for students; act as a focal point to synthesize damage reports from provinces and cities; supplement information and data on damage to affiliated educational and training institutions (if any), complete the overall report on damage caused by storm No. 11 to the education sector, and submit it to the Prime Minister before 3:00 p.m. on October 15.
Ministers of the Ministries of Public Security, National Defense, Agriculture and Environment continue to direct units located in the area to support localities in cleaning schools, reviewing and calculating damages as requested by the People's Committees of provinces and cities. The Minister of Finance balances resources to support localities in overcoming the damage caused by storm No. 11.
The Prime Minister assigned Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long to monitor and urge ministries, branches and localities to implement this dispatch.
