Military Hospital 120 opens vaccination center

The 120 Military Hospital's vaccination center has come into operation, contributing to providing safe, high-quality vaccination services for soldiers and people.

On September 17, Military Hospital 120 (Dong Thap) held an opening ceremony and put into operation the Vaccination Center. This is a specialized unit under the Nursing Department, responsible for organizing vaccinations for soldiers, defense workers and civilians, contributing to improving preventive medicine capacity and proactively preventing epidemics.

The center currently has 8 staff, including 2 doctors, 3 nurses and support staff, all certified in safe vaccination practices.

The center is arranged in a one-way process, from the waiting area, screening table, vaccination, recording to post-vaccination monitoring. At the same time, it is fully provided with vaccines in the list of the Ministry of Health , from routine vaccination to campaign vaccination.

Vaccines are imported from reputable pharmaceutical companies such as Sanofi, MSD, Pfizer..., serving all ages, including HPV vaccine.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel, Doctor Nguyen Trung Kien, Director of Military Hospital 120, said that the hospital has provided regular training on vaccination safety, post-vaccination reaction handling, and anaphylactic shock emergency procedures for medical staff and workers, and is ready to coordinate with local health agencies to deploy emergency vaccination in unusual epidemic situations; update complete and accurate vaccination data to the national vaccination system, contributing to infectious disease surveillance through vaccination data; store vaccination records, customer records, and screening examination forms in accordance with regulations.

In the coming time, Military Hospital 120 will continue to expand professional cooperation, apply technology in vaccine management, preservation and use; improve service quality, taking the safety and satisfaction of vaccinated people as the top goal.
