On behalf of the provincial delegation, Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Vu Hong Van said that after 50 years of liberating the South and unifying the country, one of the most special days of the Vietnamese people is July 27 (War Invalids and Martyrs Day), expressing deep gratitude and appreciation to those who sacrificed and contributed in the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland.

The country has peace , independence and freedom as it has today, but it had to pay for the sacrifices of many compatriots and comrades; there were children of the nation who left forever and never returned; there were people who returned to their homeland but had to carry with them serious injuries.

The Provincial Party Secretary was moved to say: The generation of leaders and people of Dong Nai respectfully express their gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution and their relatives on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

The Provincial Party Secretary was very impressed with the exploits, achievements, medals and titles of wounded soldier Le Hong Thai in the nation's resistance wars. Despite being imprisoned, brutally tortured and severely injured by the enemy, wounded soldier Le Hong Thai and his comrades still fought steadfastly until the day the country was reunified. Following the example of previous generations, the present and future generations continue to strive to study, work, produce, and strive to build the homeland to become more prosperous and happy.

Provincial Party Secretary Vu Hong Van suggested that Party committees and authorities at all levels continue to pay attention to implementing policies and educating the Vietnamese people's traditions of "Remembering the source of water when drinking" and "Repaying gratitude".
