Binh Duong: Mother prosecuted for beating her own son to death after drinking beer

On May 26, the People's Procuracy of Binh Duong province announced that it had just approved the decision to prosecute and detain Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao (28 years old, from An Giang, an employee of a karaoke bar in the area), to investigate the crime of "Murder".

As reported by SGGPO, on the evening of May 16, Thao returned to her rented room in Tan Dinh ward, Ben Cat town, Binh Duong province from work. At the same time, two children, NHGB (3 years old) and NHGA (1 year old, both biological children of T.) were in the room.

T. lay on the floor and slept for a while, then baby A. cried, so he tried to comfort her but failed. T. used his hand to hit baby A. many times, until he stopped crying and went back to sleep. Late that night, T. woke up and discovered that the victim was no longer breathing, and his body was purple, so he asked someone to take him to the hospital for emergency treatment, but baby A. had already died.

During the investigation, on May 18, the Investigation Police Agency of Binh Duong Province Police detained Thao.
