Intensive training in inspection and supervision skills to adapt to digital transformation requirements

On the morning of October 13, in Hanoi, the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies coordinated with the Central Inspection Committee to organize an Intensive Professional Training Course on Inspection and Supervision Work in 2025 for Party Committee members, Inspection Committee members at all levels and officials and civil servants doing inspection and supervision work at all levels in the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies.

Attending the opening ceremony were: Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics ; leaders of relevant agencies.

In his opening speech, comrade Nguyen Quang Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Party Committee Inspection Committee of the Central Party agencies, said that the course, which takes place from October 13 to 17, 2025, aims to raise awareness and action, equip knowledge and skills to effectively implement the regulations and instructions of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Central Inspection Committee on inspection, supervision and discipline work of the Party.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Truong asked the students to promote a sense of responsibility; strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the class; proactively study documents; actively exchange and discuss to resolve difficulties, obstacles, and unclear contents related to the implementation of the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline tasks. In addition to conveying the content of the topics, the lecturers need to pay attention to answering the difficulties, obstacles, and concerns of the students, especially the practical issues that arise.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee Anh Dung emphasized that inspection and supervision work is one of the important leadership functions of the Party, contributing to building a clean and strong Party. The practical activities of our Party since its establishment have affirmed that leadership must include inspection; leadership without inspection is considered as no leadership. Entering the new revolutionary stage, our Party affirms that it must continue to promote the work of Party building and rectification with a higher political spirit and determination. In particular, the Party is determined to strengthen inspection and supervision work to maintain discipline and order; prevent and combat corruption, waste, negativity; manifestations of political, moral, lifestyle degradation, self-evolution, self-transformation within the Party; contributing to consolidating and strengthening people's trust in the Party and the State. Therefore, the role and responsibility of the Inspection Committee and the inspection staff are increasingly difficult and heavier.

To meet the inspection task in the new situation, it is necessary to pay special attention to the capacity of the inspectors. The capacity of the inspectors must be comprehensive, both broad and deep; both good at expertise and at the same time have an understanding of knowledge related to Party building work, State laws and economic and social management. In other words, the inspectors must be proficient in their profession, knowledgeable in many fields; must be good at one profession and know many professions, both red and specialized. Therefore, the work of training and fostering professional expertise and professional skills for the team of inspectors at all levels is a very important task and needs to be carried out regularly.

During 5 days, with 9 specialized professional topics, experienced officers of the Department of Area 1A, the Central Inspection Committee will introduce to 229 trainees (including 87 re-elected comrades, 142 comrades participating in the Inspection Committee for the first time) the regulations, procedures, and skills to perform inspection and supervision tasks. Through the training, trainees can identify and handle situations arising in practice effectively and accurately. At the same time, trainees are updated with new guiding viewpoints and orientations of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Inspection Committee on inspection and supervision work, adapting to the requirements of digital transformation and administrative reform in current conditions, to immediately apply to practical work at their agencies and work units.

Nine specialized topics will be trained at the Training Course, including: Overview of the Party Inspection sector and the work of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline; Work of grasping the situation and regular supervision of Party organizations and Party members; Specialized supervision of Party organizations and Party members; Inspection of subordinate Party organizations and Party members when there are signs of violations; Inspection of subordinate Party organizations performing the tasks of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline; Inspection of Party finances; Handling of denunciations and complaints about Party discipline; Party discipline and enforcement of discipline within the Party; Control of assets and income of cadres and Party members; Digital transformation, application of information technology in inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline.
