In addition to the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the training target is extended to staff of other ministries and agencies working on international cooperation in Laos. In addition to the lecturers who are professionally trained in interpretation and have international translation and interpretation training certificates from the Diplomatic Academy, there is also the participation of experts from Flinders University, Australia.
The lecturers were selected by the Australian side from a team of lecturers who had participated in translation and interpretation training courses organized by the Australian side in Vietnam.
Post-course survey results showed that 100% of Lao students highly appreciated the quality, course content and teaching methods, especially the practicality and immediate application to work. The Lao Institute of Foreign Affairs (IFA) assessed this year's program as well-organized, professional, with good coordination between Vietnamese and Australian lecturers, and proposed that the next courses be held alternately in Laos, Vietnam and Australia, thereby enhancing exchanges and sharing of experiences between the three countries.
The success of the course not only contributes to enhancing the capacity of Lao officials but also enhances the capacity and prestige in international cooperation in training foreign affairs officials of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, while promoting exchange, cooperation and mutual understanding among the three countries.
