* On the morning of June 26, Bat Xat District Statistics Office organized a training conference on professional investigation and information collection on the socio -economic situation of 53 ethnic minorities in 2024.
The training was attended by 92 delegates including leaders and officers of the District Statistical Office, District Ethnic Affairs Department; office staff, statisticians and team leaders and investigators of 21 communes and towns.

During the 3 days (from June 26 to 28), delegates were introduced to the investigation plan, collecting information on the socio-economic situation of 53 ethnic minorities in 2024; purpose, meaning, requirements, subjects of the investigation, scope of the investigation, time, duration of the investigation, basic contents of the investigation; implementation plan in the district; tasks of investigators and team leaders; some regulations in the investigation; instructions on how to ask, record information on the content of the investigation form; instructions on using the investigation operation website; installing and using CAPI software in collecting information on list forms, household forms...
* From June 26 to 28, the People's Committee of Van Ban district organized a training conference on professional investigation and information collection on the socio-economic situation of 53 ethnic minorities in 2024 for nearly 80 delegates who are leaders and civil servants of the Statistics Office, the District Ethnic Affairs Department; office staff, statisticians and team leaders and investigators of communes and towns.

At the conference, delegates were informed of the basic and main contents of the investigation plan, collecting information on the socio-economic situation of 53 ethnic minorities in 2024; methods of conducting investigations and collecting information; instructions on installing and using CAPI software in collecting household ballot information; instructions on using software to collect commune ballot information...
The conference also provided time for delegates to discuss, exchange and resolve arising problems to be ready to conduct the investigation well, ensuring objective, complete and accurate information collection results.
* On the morning of June 26, Bao Yen District Statistical Office coordinated with the Ethnic Minority Department to organize a training conference on professional investigation and information collection on the socio-economic situation of 53 ethnic minorities in 2024 for nearly 50 delegates who are office and statistical officers of 17 communes and towns in the district.

During the 3 days of June 26-28, the trainees listened to the reporters introduce the investigation plan to collect information on the socio-economic situation of 53 ethnic minorities in 2024; introduce the survey form on household members, housing, living conditions and loan needs, cultural and social situation and access to public services; instructions on installing and using CAPI software - household form; practice interviewing on CAPI survey software; instructions on using the survey operation website, installing and using the commune form survey software...
Through training, trainees will master the profession and implement information collection to ensure accuracy, completeness, and progress according to the set plan.
The information collection investigation launch ceremony will take place on July 1 and will be carried out until August 15, 2024, across the province.
In Bat Xat district, the survey was conducted in 52 locations in 21 communes and towns; Van Ban district in 62 locations in 22 communes and towns; Bao Yen district in 56 locations in 17 communes and towns.
The purpose of the survey is to collect information on population, housing conditions of ethnic minority households and socio-economic conditions of 53 ethnic minorities to compile statistical indicators of the National Statistical Indicator System and the Statistical Indicator System on Ethnic Affairs; serving the development and planning of socio-economic development policies for ethnic minority areas in the period 2026 - 2030. At the same time, it serves as a basis for updating the information system and statistical data on ethnic minorities in Vietnam.
