Visiting and giving gifts to flood victims in Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front visited and presented gifts to support people and forces to overcome the consequences of storms and floods in Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh provinces.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, encouraged the armed forces who are supporting people in flood-affected areas.

Visiting and directly giving support to people affected by storm No. 10, storm No. 11 and support forces in the two localities, on behalf of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, shared the difficulties that the Party Committee , government and people of the two provinces are experiencing.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front highly appreciated the proactive spirit, efforts and endeavors of the provinces in approaching stranded people to minimize human losses; at the same time, it sent thanks to the armed forces for supporting Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh provinces to overcome the consequences caused by floods and soon stabilize people's lives.

According to Ms. Ha Thi Nga, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has issued an appeal to support people in provinces affected by floods. In response to the appeal, in recent days, many agencies, organizations, businesses and philanthropists have joined hands to support people in provinces severely affected by storms and floods.

Forces are helping to clean up schools in Thai Nguyen province.

Up to this point, the amount of money registered for donations through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee's account has reached nearly 900 billion VND, of which, Vingroup Corporation has donated 500 billion VND, coordinating with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to provide support to families affected in recent days.

The Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has allocated the first round of support of VND 265 billion to 17 provinces and cities.
