The program is within the framework of the Tourism Development Cooperation Plan between the 8 expanded Northwestern provinces and Ho Chi Minh City in 2025, aiming to improve management capacity and develop adventure tourism products in a professional, safe and sustainable manner.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Son Binh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lao Cai province, Head of the working delegation, emphasized: The Northwest is a region with rich potential for adventure tourism development with a system of high mountains, primeval forests, rivers and streams and a unique cultural identity. However, this activity is currently lacking in synchronization, without a suitable legal framework and infrastructure, and it is necessary to learn effective management and exploitation models from previous localities such as Lam Dong.
At the conference, Mr. Vo Thanh Huy - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province shared many practical experiences in developing adventure sports tourism products such as waterfall crossing, ziplining, trekking in deep forests, mountain biking... as well as procedures for ensuring safety, licensing and training human resources.
Delegates from both sides exchanged and discussed the coordination mechanism between management agencies, businesses and the community; search and rescue work; and orientations for linking the development of adventure tourism products with regional identity.

The business trip is an opportunity for the Northwestern provinces to expand their learning of the model of developing adventure tourism in a systematic, professional and safe manner; at the same time, it opens up a new direction of cooperation between the two regions - contributing to building a green, attractive and sustainable Vietnamese tourism industry.
