The 152mm self-propelled artillery researched and modernized by Vietnam is receiving public attention at the Ministry of National Defense's display area, in the National Achievements Exhibition.

On the morning of August 28, at the National Achievements Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, the Ministry of National Defense displayed various types of equipment and weapons outdoors with the theme "Sword and Shield".

Among them, many types of weapons and equipment were announced for the first time, such as the 152mm self-propelled gun researched and modernized by Viettel .

According to the explanation of the staff at the exhibition area, the 152mm self-propelled gun is a heavy artillery line, with strong firepower and high mobility, providing fire support for infantry and armored vehicles.

The 152 mm self-propelled gun has 7 components: a 152 mm gun mounted on the rear hull; an electronic warfare system mounted on the rear of the vehicle; a ballistic calculation system and firing elements; a 12.7 mm automatic anti-aircraft gun system; a laser system; smoke grenades; communications and an automatic power supply system for the vehicle.

The gun is automatically controlled, with a maximum firing rate of 4 rounds/minute; 1 combat crew of 5-6 people; equipped with bulletproof armor according to STANAG 4569 standards; total weight 34 tons

The maximum speed of the self-propelled gun that can march is 70 km/h.
