The report at the conference affirmed that in the third quarter of 2025 and the first 9 months of 2025, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering and the Army Logistics and Engineering sector closely followed the Resolution of the Central Military Commission, military and defense tasks; proactively overcame difficulties, and comprehensively deployed Logistics and Engineering tasks.
Notably, it has fully and promptly ensured logistics and technology for combat readiness, training, exercises, and implementation of A50 and A80 missions... Units have thoroughly grasped and focused on implementing the Central Military Commission's resolution on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation in the military; effectively applied platform software to serve the command and control work and created the initial database of the Logistics-Technical sector.
In addition, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering and its units have effectively implemented scientific and technological research projects and technical innovation initiatives; well organized military cooperation tasks with foreign countries and ensured logistics and technology for the United Nations peacekeeping force and the Myanmar Working Group to support the earthquake recovery mission according to the tasks assigned by the Ministry of National Defense.

Regarding the tasks of the fourth quarter and the following period, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc requested that agencies and units in the entire army continue to effectively implement Resolution No. 1656 and No. 1658 of the Central Military Commission on leadership of logistics and technical work until 2030 and the following years; research, forecast, and correctly assess the world and domestic situation related to logistics and technical work, especially the impact of military conflicts in the world and the reality of logistics and technical work after the merger, reorganize logistics and technical agencies at all levels and implement 2-level local government... to propose appropriate methods of ensuring logistics and technical work.

Focus on ensuring timely logistics and technical support for training, combat readiness, regularly and suddenly, focusing on ensuring for units on duty to protect sovereignty over seas, islands, borders, key areas, regional defense area exercises in 2025; major events of the country. Focus on implementing programs and plans for purchasing, producing, and improving weapons and technical equipment; re-inspecting and proposing to remove from military equipment, inspecting and handling level 5 weapons and technical equipment in accordance with regulations.

Along with that, it is necessary to promote production and processing effectively and sustainably, in association with regional potentials and advantages; proactively prepare sources of green vegetables and food to ensure Tet and welcome new soldiers in 2026; advise and propose to the Ministry of National Defense to upgrade facilities, medical staff, doctors... to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment of Military Hospital 354 as well as other hospitals in the entire army. Carry out well the work of managing, caring for, and protecting the health of soldiers, maintaining the rate of healthy soldiers at 98.5% or higher; complete the work of medical examination for military recruitment; deploy the work of medical examination for military service in 2026...
