Dong Nai boy successfully gave special conical hats to Blackpink in the US

(Dan Tri) - Besides being willing to spend a huge amount of money to go through all 5 stops of the "Born Pink" music night in the US, Teacher Beo U40 also surprised everyone by bringing more than 200 conical hats as gifts.

Mr. Beo U40 (real name Tran Tuan Dat, born in 1988, Dong Nai ) is a university lecturer majoring in International Relations. He is also known as a bilingual MC, content creator with 5 million followers on social media platforms.

Recently, Teacher Beo U40 attracted attention when he decided to make more than 200 conical hats as gifts for all international Blinks (Blackpink group's fan name) present at 5 Born Pink concerts in the US.

Difficulties from the days before setting foot in America

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Teacher Beo U40 said: "I decided to book plane tickets, tickets to concerts and pay for accommodation and food just one week before officially departing for the US.

With the project "Vietnamese conical hats in your area", I had exactly 5 days to complete everything. Thanks to the help from the online community, I successfully contacted 4 reputable conical hat suppliers in Hanoi , Hue, Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai to order in time".

To complete a large quantity of conical hats in a short time, Thay Beo needed the help of 4 suppliers from Hanoi, Hue , Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai (Photo: NVCC).

Initially, Thay Beo only planned to bring 10 conical hats to randomly give to some international fans of Blackpink at music nights.

After a day of sharing this information on social networks, seeing great support from the Vietnamese fan community in the US, he decided to "play big", changing the scale of the project, increasing the number of conical hats to more than 200.

These conical hats will be divided equally and given away for free to all Blackpink fans at 4 locations in New Jersey, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco (USA).

Talking about the difficulties in the implementation process, Teacher Beo confided: "Even when I was still in Vietnam, the implementation process encountered all kinds of "tribulations". The biggest difficulty and pressure for me was probably racing against time and unfavorable weather.

The weather in Vietnam at this time is mostly rainy and less sunny, so the conical hats painted by artisans will not have time to dry. The shipping schedule is pushed back from the original plan, leading to many unexpected additional costs.

There was a time when Teacher Beo felt desperate and helpless when he heard that the 50 conical hats from the Las Vegas (USA) leg transported from Hue to Ho Chi Minh City were late and could not be packed and brought over in time.

Teacher Beo confided: "When I heard the news, I burst into tears at the hotel, feeling worried, not knowing what to do because that was the last way to transport the hat to Las Vegas, USA.

Luckily, when I shared this story with groups, I received support from everyone, finding a way to get those hats to the US in time for the show. I was moved by the solidarity of the Vietnamese fan community."

When he received information that the conical hats could not be delivered on time, Thay Beo was fortunate to receive support from the Vietnamese Blink community in Las Vegas and Los Angeles (USA). All members of the group sympathized and proactively shared the shipping costs from Vietnam to the US with him.

Mr. Beo did not want to disclose the specific amount of investment for this project. The young man born in 1988 hopes that this small act of his will contribute to spreading the Vietnamese spirit and culture to the largest stadiums in the US.

Traveled 14,000 km to personally deliver a special gift to Blackpink

To be present at the final stage of the Born Pink music night, Teacher Beo had to go through a difficult journey with 5 consecutive flights, traveling 14,000 km to reach the US on time.

Luckily, having experience of going to America 4 times and successfully participating in Taylor Swift's concert there, the Dong Nai native confidently went alone without feeling confused or afraid of anything.

The moment member Rosé wore a Vietnamese conical hat during the stage rehearsal at the concert at Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas, USA) quickly spread on social networks and created a "fever" among the Vietnamese fan community.

"When I saw Rosé receiving and wearing the conical hat that she brought from Vietnam, I cried a lot at the stadium. It felt like all the difficulties and challenges she had gone through had been worth it.

After returning home to review it, my emotions were quite mixed, I was crying and laughing like a child. I felt happy, proud and satisfied because I had fulfilled my biggest dream on this trip," Teacher Beo emotionally recounted.

Having attended Blackpink's performances 9 times in many different countries, Teacher Beo found this trip to the US to be an invaluable experience and worth the effort.

He confided: "If I hadn't decided to go to the US to see Blackpink perform, I might have regretted it for the rest of my life. This is a very meaningful experience and I cherish every moment, every moment of sublimation and happiness to be here."

Chasing idols is not blameworthy.
