Chillies have just released the MV Gold . This is the first song paving the way for their second studio album titled KIM, scheduled to be released in October.

MV "Gold":

Unlike previous products with a strong Alternative/Pop Rock style, the song marks a major turning point in Chillies' nearly 8-year journey. The song has a strong disco, synth pop spirit in both sound and image - this is a rare time the group clearly shows the disco/synth element in music .

When it was commented that this new song was too strange, making it difficult for the audience to recognize Chillies' typical musical style, the group's representative said: "Chillies does not want to stand still. Instead of continuing to exploit familiar strengths, we want to 'destroy and rebuild' our style to create something new."

Chillies also affirmed that the group members all share the same fear in their musical style of 'stagnating', with no creative breakthroughs.

The highlight of Gold lies in the way it exploits the theme of love in a new and bold way. According to the group, finding a suitable theme was the most difficult part when making the MV. In the end, the group decided to choose a theme related to Greek mythology associated with love instead of the usual gentle love style.

The MV features singer Marzuz in the role of Cyborg - a familiar half-human, half-machine creature in sci-fi movies. This combination brings a new, interesting and suitable feature to the overall concept of the album.

Chillies's share:

Within the framework of the music project of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups , singer Phuc Anh went to the "leper village" Plei Mun Mak, Gia Lai province.

Here, Phuc Anh and his crew filmed 2 new MVs for the album 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups . All the actors in the MV are people and children in the leper village, without any staging, props or acting direction.

“We just brought the camera and let everything happen naturally. The music blends with the breath of life here,” the crew representative shared.

In addition, the crew also filmed a documentary about the history and changes in people's lives here.

The trip to Plei Mun Mak left Phuc Anh with many emotions. "Happiness is not a destination but a journey. When you dare to step out of your comfort zone, you will see joy in even the things that used to scare you, and beauty even in sadness and loneliness," the singer said.

Phuc Anh believes that music only has true value when it touches people's hearts, when it is not just a performance but also contains humanitarian values.

9X expressed his hope that the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups project will continue to be a bridge to spread messages about humanity, empathy and national cultural pride.
