After more than two years of treatment for a persistent injury, Doan Van Hau returned to the field on the evening of October 11.

Van Hau took the field in the friendly match between CAHN Club and Hanoi FC. Although it was just a practice match between the two representatives of the capital's football, it marked an important turning point in the injury recovery process of the defender from the rice fields.

The 1999-born winger was brought onto the field by coach Mano Polking and played with great effort during his appearance.
According to reports, his return could take place around January or February 2026, which is in the later stages of the LPBank V-League 2025/26 season.

Van Hau needs more time to fully recover and regain 100% of his form. However, his return to the field brings good news to the police team and the Vietnamese national team.

Van Hau's return will help CAHN and the Vietnamese team increase the depth of their squad. Coach Kim Sang Sik will have more options on the left wing, as Cao Quang Vinh and Van Vi both play well.
