On the evening of October 11, the Nam Dinh Steel Club posted a picture of striker Nguyen Xuan Son returning to the field after nearly 10 months of absence due to injury. He was brought on in the second half of the friendly match between Nam Dinh Steel and PVF-CAND Youth, in preparation for round 6 of the LPBank V-League.
"It takes more time to make a perfect comeback. Striker Xuan Son entered the field at the end of the second half of the friendly match between Nam Dinh Club and PVF-CAND Youth, marking his return after 10 months away from the field," Nam Dinh Steel Club announced.

Although he could not play the full 90 minutes of the match, Xuan Son's return is very good news for the team from Thanh Nam and the Vietnam team.
In fact, the striker born in 1997 has been training at high intensity for the past month, but this is the first time he has been able to play in a match after nearly a year of injury treatment.

Xuan Son was not registered in the first leg of the V-League, so the fastest he can return is in the second leg. Coach Vu Hong Viet registered him to participate in the National Cup, the Southeast Asian Club Cup and the AFC Champions League Two, but it is not yet determined when he can play. For the Vietnamese team, the Brazilian striker is likely to return to play in the match against Malaysia at the end of March next year.
