"Our child was also born in Belgium," Ms. Vuong shared.

It is known that Mr. Dinh is a doctor of agronomy. During his time living abroad, he was lucky to find a position doing scientific research on plant nutrition, which is in line with his expertise.

However, recently due to staff cuts, he had to quit his job. Ms. Vuong came up with the idea of asking her husband to sell Chinese food since the children were all grown up and the couple had more time.

"Among the countless delicious dishes of my hometown, I especially love and miss the taste of Wānzá noodles - a Chongqing specialty. I have long cherished the idea of opening a noodle stall, so I took this opportunity to convince and invite my husband to do it together," Ms. Vuong confided. She said that at first, when he stood selling on the sidewalk, Mr. Dinh was so shy that he "stood 5 meters away from the stall".

Currently, the couple's Wanza noodle stall in Belgium is only open 2 days a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Customers have 2 options: thin noodles or wide noodles with prices of 7 Euro (216 thousand VND) and 9 Euro (277 thousand VND) respectively.

Mr. Dinh said that thanks to the support of friends and many local people, he and his wife sell about 100 portions every day, earning nearly 1,000 Euros (about 30 million VND).

"Many customers come back regularly on the days we open, even saying this is the best Chinese food they have ever eaten. This is a great motivation for my husband and I to maintain this stall. When things are more stable, we may increase the number of days we open per week," said Ms. Vuong.
