(Dan Tri) - While the stock market is falling, shares of tra fish exporting enterprises are rising strongly, some even hitting the ceiling.

At the end of the trading session on June 20, VN-Index decreased by 2.69 points, equivalent to 0.2%, to 1,349.35 points. VN30-Index decreased by 2.69 points; HNX-Index decreased by 0.49 points; UPCoM-Index increased by 0.27 points. Of which, 2 stocks of Vingroup family, VIC (Vingroup), VHM (Vinhomes) led the group of stocks negatively affecting the index.

The highlight of today's session was the seafood stocks. Many stocks increased to the limit, recording overwhelming demand after 2 p.m. Among them, representatives of the pangasius industry such as IDI, ANV and VHC all increased to the ceiling, with no sellers.

Seafood stocks became a bright spot in today's session, especially breaking out after 2 p.m. when demand increased sharply, many codes increased to the maximum limit.

Notably, ANV ended the session in purple with a buy surplus of nearly 1.5 million shares, while VHC also increased by 6.7%. Liquidity of this group skyrocketed, with ANV and VHC trading 3.7 million and 2.9 million units respectively.

In addition, a series of other seafood codes also recorded positive developments such as CMX up 4.75%, ASM up nearly 4%, FMC up 2.2%, MPC up 0.8% and ACL up 0.5%...

Foreign investors today increased their net selling by nearly 570 billion VND. VIC was the stock that foreign investors sold the most with a value of more than 857 billion VND, followed by VHM, FPT, MSB, STB... On the other hand, foreign investors net bought stocks such as HPG, DBC, VCB, BAF,SHB ...

In the whole market, the total value of matched transactions reached more than 20,000 billion VND. The board was strongly differentiated with 132 codes increasing in price, 3 codes hitting the ceiling; 64 codes remaining at the reference price and 167 codes decreasing in price.
