Notably, the discussion on the impacts of digital transformation in finance and accounting and future human resource development orientation by the group of authors from Saigon University (including: Associate Professor - Dr. Tran Dinh Phung, Dr. Trinh Thi Huyen Thuong and Master Giang Quoc Tuan).
According to the authors, digital transformation brings many positive changes to the financial accounting industry, helping to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve information quality. Digital technologies such as AI, Big Data, Cloud and Blockchain are being applied to automate processes, optimize financial management and improve decision-making capacity. On the other hand, digital transformation also has a strong impact on job positions in the industry. The authors propose recommendations for developing digital transformation human resources in the finance and accounting sectors. Enterprises need to be proactive in training and improving employees' skills, creating a working environment that adapts to new technologies, and building a digital corporate culture. The government plays a key role in developing digital transformation human resources in general, and in the finance and accounting sector in particular; through policy development, training and awareness raising, creating a favorable environment for developing high-quality human resources to meet the needs of the digital economy .
The research team particularly emphasized the role of universities in sustainable human resource development in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution. The study recommends that universities need to adjust their training programs to suit the requirements of the labor market in the digital age, including integrating digital knowledge and skills into traditional majors and building specialized training programs on digital transformation. At the same time, improve the digital capacity of lecturers, help them master digital teaching tools and methods; organize international training programs, attract foreign students and experts, create a diverse and rich learning environment, etc.
