Hoa Binh Club will not dissolve and will still participate in the 2025-2026 First Division.

Confirming with Tuoi Tre Online, the leader of Hoa Binh Club affirmed that the team will still operate and compete in national professional tournaments in the 2025-2026 season.

"Hoa Binh Club has just completed the registration of players and coaching staff to VPF to participate in the 2025-2026 season like other teams. We have not dissolved," Mr. Nguyen Minh Tu, General Director of Hoa Binh Football Joint Stock Company, told Tuoi Tre Online on the afternoon of August 29.

That is the message affirming the existence of Hoa Binh Club in the face of recent rumors that the team will have to disband and not participate in national professional tournaments next season.

Up to this point, Hoa Binh has successfully retained many important players to compete in the National Cup and completed registration with Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) before the deadline of 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, August 29.

Because the deadline for registering players for the National First Division is September 5, Hoa Binh is urgently recruiting more domestic players and testing foreign players for this arena.

"During the preparation for the new season, Hoa Binh Club has received attention and support from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee and Departments of Phu Tho Province. We are proposing to ask for the opinion of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee on changing the name of the Club to the name of the province.

If the name change is approved, we will submit the registration to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) according to regulations," said the leader of Hoa Binh Club about the team name change.

The 2025-2026 National First Division will still have 13 participating clubs and will start on September 19.

The teams compete in a round-robin format with home and away matches. The rankings are calculated to select 2 teams promoted to V-League and 2 teams relegated to second division.

Hoa Binh Club has been training since July, maintaining training since then and is ready for the new season. Last season, the team ranked 7th in the National First Division.
