This is a record high in the assets of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong. With this asset, he is holding the 196th position in the list of the richest people on the planet and continues to be the richest person in Vietnam. In total, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's assets have increased by more than 7 billion USD since the beginning of April when Forbes announced the list of the world's USD billionaires in 2025.

Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's assets have been continuously increasing recently as the shares of Vingroup Corporation and its member companies have made a strong breakthrough. At the close of trading today (September 12), Vingroup's VIC shares increased by VND1,800 to VND137,800, nearly 4 times higher than at the beginning of this year. This is a rare increase for blue-chip stocks on the Vietnamese stock exchange.

In addition, VHM shares of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company are currently at VND105,500, nearly tripled compared to the beginning of the year; VRE shares of Vincom Retail Joint Stock Company are at VND30,750, more than double compared to the beginning of the year. Particularly, VPL shares of Vinpearl Joint Stock Company are trading at around VND80,300, not much changed compared to when they were first listed on HOSE in mid-May.

Similarly, the assets of Hoa Phat Group Chairman, Mr. Tran Dinh Long, were also recorded to have reached the 3 billion USD mark for the first time, an increase of 400 million USD compared to the end of July. Hoa Phat's HPG shares in this session reached 30,000 VND - the highest since the beginning of the year. Another billionaire, Mr. Ho Hung Anh - Chairman of Techcombank, also had his assets reach a record 2.6 billion USD for the first time, 900 million USD higher than the beginning of the year. TCB shares of Techcombank and MSN shares of Masan Group are units related to this billionaire, which continuously increased. At the same time, the assets of Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang - Chairman of Masan Group reached 1.2 billion USD, an increase of 100 million USD compared to the end of July.
