The patient was Ms. Poloong Thi Deeng (born in 1950, residing in Abubl village, Ka Lum district, Sekong province, Laos). The officers and soldiers took turns using a hammock to carry her across a nearly 5km long forest path.
Ms. Deeng's family said that after a period of treatment at Bac Quang Nam Hospital (formerly Dai Loc district), she wanted to be discharged and return home. The process of returning home encountered many obstacles due to unfavorable weather, the impact of storm No. 10 made the roads extremely difficult to travel, so the family asked the Hung Son commune authorities for support.
Upon receiving the request, the Military Command and Police of Hung Son commune quickly sent forces to carry the patient in a hammock to the Tay Giang Border Control Station, complete exit procedures, so that relatives could come and pick him up and take him safely to Abu village.

This timely assistance not only ensures the safety of patients but also deeply demonstrates the sense of responsibility, strengthening solidarity and connection between the authorities and people of the two localities bordering Vietnam - Laos.
