Quang Nam Police won third prize in the People's Police Military and Martial Arts Competition

(QNO) - This morning, June 7, in Tam Ky City, the closing ceremony of the 2nd Military and Martial Arts Competition for direct combat forces in the People's Public Security took place - 2023.

The contest was hosted by Quang Nam Provincial Police, taking place from June 2-8 with the participation of more than 1,300 officers and soldiers from 33 police teams of provinces and cities and professional departments of the Ministry of Public Security.

Quang Nam Police competed with 32 teams with high achievements in 4 qualifying groups. The military events included obstacle running and military shooting with 9 applied shooting exercises: slow-motion shooting with CZ75 pistol, AK submachine gun shooting combined with CZ75 pistol, AK submachine gun shooting, sniper rifle shooting with 1 target, sniper rifle shooting with 2 targets, 3-position exercise shooting with CZ75 pistol, 2-position exercise shooting with CZ75 pistol, applied shooting with CZ75 pistol and disc shooting with CZ75 pistol.

In martial arts, 33 teams participated in the competition contents: technique, tactics, synchronized performance and analysis of 52 Mai Hoa Quyen movements and situations of applying People's Public Security martial arts.

In his closing speech, Major General Le Hong Hiep - Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Affairs - Ministry of Public Security congratulated the contest on its great success; at the same time, he praised the efforts of the Organizing Committee, the Jury, the athletes and the Quang Nam Police - the host unit of the contest.

Major General Le Hong Hiep commented that the competition had carried out the right purpose, requirements, and program content, ensuring absolute safety. Although this was the first time the final round was organized in the entire force with the participation of the police of provinces and cities and direct combat units of the Ministry of Public Security, the teams had strictly implemented the plan and regulations.

Many of the performances were exceptionally excellent, demonstrating the outstanding abilities, careful training, thorough preparation and seriousness of the units that made it to the final round. With the achievements, the Organizing Committee decided to award 101 prizes to groups and individuals.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Major General Le Hong Hiep also expressed his thanks to the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and armed forces of Quang Nam for creating favorable conditions, supporting and closely coordinating with the Quang Nam Police to help the Ministry of Public Security successfully organize the final round of the contest.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Mobile Police Command - Ministry of Public Security; Second Prize to the Dak Lak Provincial Police, Ho Chi Minh City Police and the Guard Command - Ministry of Public Security; and Third Prize to 6 units, including Quang Nam Provincial Police.
