On the morning of October 23, the fanpage Drug Prevention and Control - Ho Chi Minh City Police listed a number of songs that were warned to have offensive content or promote social evils.
Some songs promote social evils.
They are: Trinh (HIEUTHUHAI) with the lyrics "Or I have to stop making love songs. Switch to making Mai Thuy music to play for those naughty boys"; Em iu (Andree x Binh Gold) with the lyrics "Oh my god, I know you were very tired that day. But I know for sure you want to..."; "In the morning I go to the spa, at night I go clubbing, in the afternoon I work on the road...";
Dreamland (GDucky) with the lyrics "Light me a hookah, so I can forget missing you"; Never (DSK) with the lyrics "And I still smoke like it's never been forbidden, calling the guys who smoke with me brothers"; Candy (Andree) with the lyrics "Order me a hookah, a little weed in it";
Building 20 (Bray x Dat G): "Standing on the 20th floor just to smoke... and have dinner with girls who say they love me, only met a few times and had sex"; CLME (Hoang Ton x Andree x Tinle) with the lyrics "Mix a little MDMA in a bottle of water... just foil and a little Coca".

Commenting on the incident, many viewers supported the condemnation of evil, not attacking any individual. Some people questioned the measures to be taken in the future to limit and deter this phenomenon. They expressed concern that among these songs, there were some popular songs that had a large coverage in recent times.
In a VTV Online article shared by the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's Drug Prevention and Control fanpage, the police agency recommends that artists and music producers be careful in choosing lyrics, images and messages to convey, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese cultural standards, laws and customs.
