Zalo and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment signed a cooperation agreement on natural disaster prevention

On October 15, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment signed a cooperation agreement with Zalo to enhance the application of technology in natural disaster prevention in Vietnam. After 5 years of cooperation, Zalo has supported sending nearly 1 billion disaster warning messages to people nationwide, deployed the Zalo SOS feature to connect emergency relief, and integrated the 112 hotline.

Over the years, Zalo has deployed the Zalo SOS feature to help people update their status and connect to emergency relief during natural disasters and floods. During the Bualoi storm, the Zalo SOS feature was effective in helping tens of thousands of people in the Central and Northern regions update their status and connect to emergency relief. Many people used the "Request for support" feature to contact hotline 112 directly, contributing to enhancing the ability to respond to natural disasters quickly and humanely.

The new agreement, which runs until 2028, marks a step forward in the country's digital transformation and a commitment to serving people more effectively in times of emergency.

Viettel Post starts construction of Danang Logistics Center

On October 15, Viettel Post officially started construction of the Da Nang Logistics Center in Lien Chieu Industrial Park, with a total investment of more than VND 722 billion. The center will become an important link connecting production - retail - e-commerce, aiming for a green, digital and efficient logistics model, with phase 1 expected to be completed in 2026.

The structure of the Danang Logistics Center includes three main areas: Distribution warehouse for consumer goods, chilled and refrigerated goods; fulfillment warehouse specializing in processing and controlling e-commerce orders from warehousing to delivery; automatic sorting area equipped with Crossbelt Sorter line with capacity of up to 9,000 parcels per hour, combined with AGV autonomous robot system to optimize the flow of goods and improve operational efficiency.

The project integrates automation technology, AGV robots and smart management systems, helping to shorten operating time by 33% and save hundreds of thousands of kilometers of transportation each month.
