After merging Binh Phuoc province into Dong Nai, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club changed its name to Truong Tuoi Dong Nai (TTDN) to compete in the new season. "This is a very special season. We have to complete the unfinished dream of Binh Phuoc people, as well as the dream of re-promotion of Dong Nai people. We pledge with our honor to make efforts and determination to achieve the goal of promotion", Club president Pham Huong Son affirmed at the launch ceremony.
TTDN invested heavily this season to get promoted based on their strength. Looking at the squad of new coach Nguyen Viet Thang, every line has high-class players. The defense has Huu Tuan, Huynh Tan Sinh, Tran Quang Thinh. The midfield has Minh Vuong, Xuan Truong.
