Coach Tuchel wants Rashford to play better.

Speaking on October 13, the German coach had many compliments for the star who is playing for Barcelona on loan from Manchester United. Rashford scored 3 goals and had 4 assists after 10 matches in Spain, but for Tuchel, that is still not enough.

“He can become one of the best players in the world ,” said Tuchel. “But I worry that Rashford might lose his talent. He has a good finishing ability, speed, explosiveness, strength in the air – Rashford has no limits. But his numbers are not there yet. Rashford needs to push himself because if he doesn’t, he might regret in 10 years what he could have been.”

Tuchel revealed that he regularly speaks privately with Rashford, advising him to score and create more. “He has potential, but potential is a dangerous word in elite sport ,” Tuchel stressed. “Because if you don’t achieve consistency, you waste it.”

Rashford has been a regular in England's squad since Tuchel took over as head coach in March, except for the summer friendlies against Senegal and Andorra, when he missed time due to injury while playing for Aston Villa.

Despite a promising start with Barcelona, including a brace in the Champions League win over Newcastle, Tuchel still sent a warning: Rashford's career "is not saved" and things will only really start if he maintains his peak form for a long time.
