General Secretary To Lam and leaders visit exhibition of technology equipment and press achievements

On the morning of October 14, General Secretary To Lam and other Party and State leaders and former leaders visited the exhibition space for strategic technology equipment and the exhibition of press and publishing achievements in the space of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress.

On the morning of October 14, General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, along with leaders and former leaders of the Party and State, came to the campus of the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials to attend the opening session of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Before the opening ceremony, General Secretary To Lam and other Party and State leaders and former leaders visited the exhibition space of strategic technology equipment at the congress.

The exhibition space gathers nearly 30 booths with more than 650 products and solutions belonging to 11 strategic technology groups.

Leaders and former leaders of the Party and State also visited the exhibition space of press and publishing achievements at the congress. The exhibition introduced more than 300 books, press publications, images and documents vividly reflecting the development and creativity of Vietnamese press and publishing in the digital transformation period.

In this space, converged newsroom models, digital data systems and radio and television technology applying artificial intelligence (AI) were also introduced, helping viewers access modern news production processes.

Among them, leaders and former leaders of the Party and State visited the exhibition booth of Tuoi Tre newspaper . Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre newspaper Tran Xuan Toan introduced the history of formation, publications, shaping the direction as well as the contribution of Tuoi Tre newspaper to the cause of socio-economic development of the country in general, and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.

The leaders and former leaders of the Party and State also had frank discussions and hoped that Tuoi Tre newspaper would always maintain its role as a leading newspaper, and at the same time believed that there would be a mechanism for Tuoi Tre newspaper to continue to promote and fulfill its role.
