Da Nang opens the first meeting of the City Party Executive Committee, term I

The conference aims to discuss and evaluate the implementation of work in the third quarter and the first 9 months of the year, deploy key directions and tasks for the fourth quarter of 2025; and give opinions on a number of contents according to the Working Regulations.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, said that in recent times, all levels and sectors have focused on consolidating, perfecting, and stabilizing the organizational apparatus, and operating the 2-level local government model to ensure smoothness and synchronization. The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system has been given attention.

In particular, the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and the 1st Congress of the City Party Committee were successfully organized, creating new momentum, confidence and motivation for the entire Party Committee, government and people of the city to continue firmly on the new path of development.

According to the summary report, the city's economy in the first 9 months of the year had many positive highlights, many indicators and indexes were better than the previous quarter and the same period, being one of the localities in the country continuing to grow at over 10%; some sectors maintained high growth rates.

The total GRDP in the third quarter of 2025 is estimated to increase by 9.45%, and in the first 9 months of the year is estimated to increase by 9.83%. The city's total state budget revenue as of September 25 reached VND40,238.2 billion, up 22.8% over the same period, reaching 79.31% of the estimate; of which, domestic revenue was more than VND35,197 billion, reaching 81.67% of the estimate.

In the first 9 months of the year, the number of guests served by accommodation establishments is estimated at more than 14.4 million, an increase of more than 22.3% over the same period; of which, international guests are estimated at more than 5.8 million, an increase of more than 27.4%.

Da Nang tourism continues to grow strongly.

The city focuses on attracting investment and developing human resources in the information technology, high-tech, semiconductor, microchip and artificial intelligence industries...; starting and inaugurating many key projects and works.

Social security programs with many outstanding policies were implemented, completing the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.

Political security and social order and safety are guaranteed . The results achieved reflect the determination and efforts of the entire political system, business community and people of the city.
