Searching for Asia's "wedding paradise"
From October 3 to 6, Anex Trading and Tourism Company Limited cooperated with Inventum Global Company, Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, organized a famtrip group of 30 leading Indian wedding planning companies to survey in Da Nang City.
During the program, the delegation visited famous attractions of the city such as Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area, Hoi An Ancient Town, VinWonders Nam Hoi An. At the same time, they surveyed the infrastructure serving wedding tourism at hotels and resorts in Da Nang.
Large banquet halls, spacious outdoor spaces, and beach resorts suitable for many types of events have helped the city make a strong impression on the Indian market. Photo: danangfantasticity
Da Nang is also the first locality in Vietnam to pilot a program (Tour) to attract wedding tourists, with many special supports such as: displaying welcome information on LED screens at Da Nang International Airport, performing traditional arts, giving flowers and souvenirs to the bride and groom, along with attractive incentives such as flycam filming packages, honeymoon night, and experiential cyclo tours.
In particular, the Indian market has risen to the third position among international markets to Da Nang, doubling compared to the same period in 2024. In recent years, Indian tourists have gradually known Da Nang as a high-end tourist "paradise" and an ideal destination for organizing wedding events.
According to Mr. Tan Van Vuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, regarding the tourism situation in the first 9 months of 2025, the city's tourism industry achieved many impressive results, more than 14.4 million visitors came to Da Nang, an increase of more than 22% over the same period in 2025. Of which, international visitors reached 5.8 million, an increase of more than 31%.
“The city’s tourism industry expects the famtrip members to bring back to India wonderful stories, images and memories from their experiences and sublime emotions about a modern, dynamic but equally romantic destination, Da Nang, rich in heritage and unique culture,” Mr. Tan Van Vuong emphasized.
Da Nang strongly attracts Indian wedding market
According to Mr. Murad Enver - Sales & Marketing Director of Inventum Global, Da Nang not only owns many ideal locations for weddings but also has a great advantage in rich cuisine to serve Indian guests. Thanks to the hotel chefs' team who understand Indian culinary culture and close cooperative relationships, guests always feel close and familiar like at home.

In the new development stage, when the administrative boundaries are expanded, Da Nang possesses a more diverse and rich chain of tourism resources, highlighted by world cultural heritages such as Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son, Ngu Hanh Son and Cu Lao Cham World Biosphere Reserve.
The city also has many natural attractions, traditional craft villages, long-standing historical and cultural relics, along with modern infrastructure, classy golf courses, high-end resorts and a convenient flight network.
According to Mr. Chauhan - representative of the Indian famtrip delegation, the most impressive thing is the flexibility of the hotels in meeting the cultural needs of Indian tourists - from traditional ceremonies, typical cuisine to multi-day festivals. He believes that in the coming years, Da Nang will become the most attractive wedding destination for Indians.
Traditional Indian weddings are often large-scale, with many consecutive ceremonies and hundreds of guests. With a modern hotel system and experienced local partners, Da Nang is fully capable of meeting this requirement.
In particular, the coastal resorts provide the ideal setting for signature ceremonies such as Mehndi, Sangeet, Baraat and the main wedding ceremony, making each event both imbued with Indian cultural identity and filled with the colors of the Vietnamese sea.
