Delegates attending the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress support people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods

At the preparatory session of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025-2023, which took place on the morning of October 13, promoting the spirit of mutual love, helping each other, national love, and compatriotism, delegates participated in contributing to support people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

Launching the donation campaign to support people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods at the congress, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, shared that in response to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, in recent days, Party committees and organizations under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee have directed and mobilized donations.

Delegates support people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods

The campaign aims to share the difficulties and losses of people in the Northern and North Central regions to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods. The campaigns have received full, active and responsible participation from the entire political system and all classes of people.

At the congress, with the traditional spirit of solidarity, mutual love, Ho Chi Minh City for the whole country, with the whole country, the Presidium called on delegates to continue to participate in contributing and supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The delegates' contributions will be transferred to people in localities affected by storms and floods as soon as possible.

Previously, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee held a ceremony to launch a campaign and receive voluntary contributions to support people in the Northern and North Central provinces affected by storms and floods.
