Spread the spirit of the congress
Speaking at the press conference, Standing Committee member, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Tong Phuoc Truong suggested that in the coming time, press propaganda work must widely spread the spirit of the congress, with the motto "One An Giang - One vision - One will - One belief in victory", affirming the determination to build a clean and strong Party organization and political system, bringing An Giang to develop quickly and sustainably.
Clearly state the viewpoints and directions of the Provincial Party Committee on the propaganda work of the congress, which must be quick, timely, and close to the grassroots; must focus on breadth, propagating to all classes of people, but at the same time must also focus on depth, fully propagating the contents, events, and results of the congress.
The theme of the congress is "Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system; promoting the tradition of solidarity; strengthening national defense, security, and foreign affairs; making breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation; building An Giang province to develop rapidly and sustainably, entering a new era with the country".

Commencement and inauguration of 10 projects to welcome the congress
The 1st Congress of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 will be held in 2 days, from October 2 to 3, 2025. The preparatory session starts at 2:00 p.m. on October 2, 2025. The official session opens at 8:00 a.m. on October 3, 2025. The congress will be held at the An Giang Provincial Cultural and Arts Center, Rach Gia Ward.
The Congress has 448 official delegates representing 131,487 party members in the Provincial Party Committee, including 65 ex-officio delegates and 383 appointed delegates); expected guests are over 160 delegates. The Congress is honored to welcome leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, central departments, ministries and branches; provincial leaders through the periods; representatives of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, representatives of the People's Armed Forces Heroes in the province... to attend and congratulate the Congress.

The 1st Congress of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, carried out the following contents: Summarizing the implementation of the congress resolution for the term 2020 - 2025 on the basis of the resolution content of the Party Committees before the merger; determining the directions, tasks and solutions for the term 2025 - 2030; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress; announcing the decisions of the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat on appointing members to the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee for the term 2025 - 2030 and the Delegation to attend the 14th National Party Congress.
The documents of this congress were carefully and methodically prepared, with the participation and wide contributions of opinions from cadres, party members, people of all walks of life, scientists, experts, central departments, ministries and branches, and were approved by the Politburo.
In particular, the political report consists of two main parts: The first part evaluates the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025; the second part is the viewpoints, goals, tasks and main solutions for the term 2025 - 2030.
The report comprehensively presents the advantages and challenges in the coming term; identifies new development space; sets out 4 groups of targets, 6 groups of key tasks, 3 breakthroughs and 4 groups of main solutions; promotes the tradition of solidarity; and the strong determination of the Provincial Party Committee to enter a new era.

(2) Commencement of provincial road 975 project, Phu Quoc special economic zone location. (3) Commencement of APEC Avenue project in Phu Quoc special economic zone. (4) Commencement of Cua Can lake project, Phu Quoc special economic zone location. (5) Commencement of APEC Conference Center project. (6) Commencement of construction of the bridge project on the coastal road connecting An Bien - Rach Gia. (7) Commencement of construction of the belt road project parallel to provincial road 942, located in An Hoi commune. (8) Commencement of the Sam Mountain Cultural Park ring road project. (9) Commencement of project to upgrade and expand Highway 11. (10) Inauguration of Phu Tho Secondary School. |
