The National Assembly Party Committee held a thematic meeting on the topic "Preserving and promoting the identity of costumes of Vietnamese ethnic groups"

On the afternoon of October 17, at the National Assembly House, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025), the National Assembly Party Committee organized a thematic activity with the theme "Preserving and promoting the identity of costumes of Vietnamese ethnic groups".

Attending the meeting were representatives of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee, members of the Executive Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the National Assembly Council, Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the National Assembly, the Office of the National Assembly, the State Audit Office, leaders of agencies, staff, assistants of the National Assembly Party Committee and especially full-time female National Assembly deputies, female leaders, female Party Committee members of Party Committees under the National Assembly Party Committee.

The thematic session demonstrated the attention and care of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee for the material and spiritual life of female leaders, cadres, civil servants and workers in the National Assembly. This is also an opportunity to review the glorious tradition and good qualities of Vietnamese women, while continuing to affirm the important contributions of female leaders, cadres, civil servants and workers in the National Assembly to the work of law-making and supervision of the National Assembly.

Speaking at the thematic activity, Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee Vu Hai Ha stated that the thematic activity with the theme "Preserving and promoting the identity of Vietnamese ethnic costumes" is an opportunity to foster love and pride in traditional national culture, especially the beauty of Vietnamese women's costumes. This activity also aims to continue implementing Conclusion No. 156-KL/TW (dated May 21, 2025) of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the 11th Party Central Committee on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people.

At the meeting, delegates listened to Researcher, Director Nguyen Bong Mai, Author of the book "Research: Colorful costumes of women of Vietnamese ethnic groups" introduce and discuss and learn about preserving and promoting the identity of costumes of Vietnamese ethnic groups, the role of women in preserving and promoting the identity of costumes of Vietnamese ethnic groups and traditional culture of Vietnamese ethnic groups... in modern life.
