Investing 1,400 billion VND to build the main coastal road into the center of Ha Tien

The coastal main road project into the center of Ha Tien is a group B traffic project, with a total investment of 1,400 billion VND from the provincial budget. It is expected that 400 billion VND will be allocated for the 2021 - 2025 period and 1,000 billion VND will be allocated for the 2026 - 2030 period.

Construction site in To Chau ward, An Giang province. The project includes a coastal main axis of more than 13km long, with a scale of 6-lane urban main axis, 56m wide roadbed.

There are 2 branch lines connecting from National Highway 80 to the main 6-lane, 41m wide route. The scenic route runs along National Highway 80, 6.5m wide, including a system of bridges, seawalls, internal connecting routes and a synchronous technical infrastructure system, using high-grade A1 hot asphalt concrete pavement.

The project is designed according to current technical standards and national regulations, ensuring quality, project longevity and aesthetics, and suitability to local conditions.

The project was decided to be invested by the People's Committee of An Giang province; An Giang Department of Construction is the investor; the joint venture Tuan Hien - Truong Phat - Thai Son - Cau Duong 10 - Ha Do 1 is the contractor.

The starting and ending points of the main coastal road project to the center of Ha Tien are located in To Chau ward, An Giang province.

Deputy Director of An Giang Department of Construction Nguyen Ngoc Lan said that the project will connect inter-regional traffic, complete the infrastructure system according to the planning of Kien Giang province (now An Giang province) for the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; promote tourism, trade, services, expand coastal development space and complete the urban landscape area, create land fund and beach to develop a new urban area with an area of about 200 hectares, develop the socio -economic area of To Chau ward and surrounding areas; ensure national defense and security in the border area and the Southwest sea of the Fatherland.
