Congratulatory message to the Vice President and Foreign Minister of Türkiye

On the occasion of Mr. Cevdet Yilmaz being appointed as Vice President of the Republic of Turkey, on June 6, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a congratulatory message.

On the same day, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Hakan Fidan on the occasion of his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.

Previously, on June 3, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan appointed a new cabinet for the country's government , including new figures leading key positions.

According to President Erdogan's appointment decision, Türkiye has a new Vice President, economic manager Cevdet Yilmaz, 56 years old, who has held the positions of Minister of Development, Deputy Head of the Justice and Development Party (APK) in charge of economics and Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economics.

Mr. Hakan Fidan - head of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) since 2010 was appointed as Foreign Minister, replacing Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu - one of Türkiye's veteran diplomats.
