Electricity, water and telecommunications in Ha Tinh basically restored after storm No. 10

(Baohatinh.vn) - The rapid water receding has helped residential areas in Ha Tinh no longer be flooded. Forces are supporting localities, schools, and people to overcome the consequences of floods.

Ha Tinh armed forces actively support the locality to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 10 after flood waters receded.

According to information from the Ha Tinh Irrigation Department, the work of overcoming damage caused by storm No. 10 and floods after the storm is being actively deployed by units and localities in the province.

The water level on Ngan Sau, Ngan Pho and La rivers is on a downward trend, water has receded in many places, currently, no households in the province are flooded. However, some traffic routes in Nghi Xuan and Duc Minh communes are still partially flooded.

With great efforts, the electricity industry has restored power to over 98% of customers. When the power system was restored, water plants were also able to restore water to 100% of customers.

The telecommunications network has also basically fixed the communication system (Vinaphone network only has 5% of stations left, Mobifone only has 9% of 3G and 4G stations not working; Viettel has ensured normal operation).

Regarding the traffic network, currently, National Highway 1 through Xuan Lam Commune, former Nghi Xuan District, now Bac Hong Linh Ward, is no longer flooded and traffic is completely flowing. The incident of the erosion of the Linh Hong Bridge girder in Son Hong Commune has opened one lane to traffic and is still being repaired.

660/676 educational establishments have returned to normal teaching. For flooded schools, after the water receded, clean-up work was carried out quickly with the support of units, armed forces, and youth union members. It is expected that teaching and learning will be able to resume in the next few days.

Along with overcoming the damage caused by storm No. 10, Ha Tinh is also simultaneously deploying response work for storm No. 11. Units and localities closely monitor forecasts of the storm's movement and impact level to prepare response plans.

The province has proactively informed and called on ships to move out of the danger zone and find safe shelter; closely monitored and managed the departure of vessels. Deployed plans to ensure the safety of people, property, agricultural production, and constructions in coastal areas. Maintained forces, vehicles, equipment, and necessary supplies ready to respond to all storm situations.
