On the evening of September 11, Vietnam's No. 1 badminton pair Tran Dinh Manh and Nguyen Dinh Hoang continued to compete impressively to advance to the quarterfinals of the Vietnam Open 2025. The Vietnamese representative won a dramatic 2-0 (22-20, 24-22) victory over Su Ching Heng and Wu Guan Xun of Chinese Taipei.

Before the match, the Chinese Taipei couple was rated higher when ranked 71st in the world and was seeded number 6. Meanwhile, the Vietnamese representative was ranked 96th in the world (seeded number 9).
