The atmosphere of the training session was exciting, with a spirit of concentration and excitement, demonstrating the high determination of the players in the final stage of preparation for the continental arena.
Today (September 10), Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Anh Tu was in Kuwait to directly inspect the living and training conditions of the team.
The timely presence and encouragement from the leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation is an important source of spiritual encouragement, helping the whole team feel more confident towards the goal of winning a ticket to the 2026 Asian Futsal Finals.
According to plan, the Vietnamese futsal team will have two international friendly matches with the host team Kuwait, taking place at 6:00 p.m. on September 11 (10:00 p.m. Vietnam time) and the rematch on September 13.
These are considered important tests for coach Diego Giustozzi to review his squad, especially the adaptability of players who have just returned from injury, as well as adjust tactics before entering the official tournament.
Notably, the Kuwait futsal team is currently led by Spanish coach Bruno Garcia. This is the coach who left a strong impression on Vietnamese futsal when he helped the team, for the first time in history, qualify for the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup finals in Colombia.
This makes the upcoming friendly matches even more meaningful, not only in terms of expertise but also as an opportunity for the Vietnamese futsal team to look back on its development over the past time.
With strong support from the management and coaching staff, the whole team is aiming for the big goal of participating and competing successfully in the 2026 Asian futsal finals, continuing to promote the pride of Vietnamese football.
