At the headquarters of the People's Committee of Lien Huong commune, comrade Dang Hong Sy sent Kate New Year greetings to the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, the Executive Board of Lac Tri village, representatives of Ba Chua Temple and Mr. Thuong Xuan Huu (Lac Tri village), a prestigious person in the Cham community; and monk Dang Ngoc (Lac Tri village).
At the headquarters of Tuy Phong Commune People's Committee, the delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuy Phong Commune, Tuy Tinh 2 Village Executive Board, Thap Ngai (Ponorop) Management Board and Mr. Doan Minh Duyen - a prestigious person among the Cham people of Tuy Tinh 2 Village.

In the warm atmosphere of the first days of the new year according to the Cham calendar, Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Dang Hong Sy acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Lien Huong and Tuy Phong communes in mobilizing Cham Brahman people to actively promote the tradition of solidarity and respond to patriotic emulation movements. Especially in the movements "Joining hands to build new rural areas" and "All people unite to build cultural and civilized urban life".

Dignitaries, monks and prestigious people in the community have played a pivotal role in mobilizing people to properly implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; actively supported and accompanied localities in building strong grassroots governments, contributing to maintaining security and order, stabilizing life and developing the local economy and society.

On the occasion of Kate Tet 2025, comrade Dang Hong Sy sent his best wishes for good health and a happy and warm Tet, a bountiful harvest, and an increasingly happy and prosperous life. He hoped that the monks and prestigious people would continue to promote propaganda and mobilize people to carry out patriotic emulation movements well, and build an increasingly prosperous life.

He also suggested that the locality promote the spirit of solidarity, help each other develop production, reduce poverty sustainably; pay attention to training and fostering the team doing ethnic and religious work; regularly stay close, listen and promptly resolve the difficulties and problems of the people. At the same time, continue to research and coordinate to organize unique cultural activities so that each Kate Tet in Lien Huong, Tuy Phong truly becomes a festival with strong identity, attracting tourists and spreading Cham cultural values.

Lam Dong currently has nearly 42,000 Cham people living in the communes of Bac Binh, Tuy Phong, Lien Huong, Ham Thuan, Ham Thuan Bac... Kate Tet is the traditional festival of the Cham people following Brahmanism, taking place on the 1st day of the 7th month of the Cham calendar. This is an occasion for descendants to remember their ancestors, show gratitude to heroes who have contributed to the nation; pray for favorable weather, bountiful crops, a peaceful and happy life.

Since 2005, every year in the 7th month of the Cham calendar, the Kate Festival of the Cham people following Brahmanism has been restored by the province and organized into a festival at Po Sah Inư Tower with full traditional rituals and cultural and artistic activities imbued with Cham folk identity. In 2022, the Kate Festival was included in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
