Comrade Tran Tien Dung holds the position of Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Comrade Tran Tien Dung was elected Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term at the first meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on the afternoon of October 16, 2025.

Previously, the Congress voted to elect the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 15th term, 2025-2030, consisting of 52 comrades (1 comrade was absent). The first meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee elected the Provincial Party Standing Committee (consisting of 14 comrades), Provincial Party Secretary, Deputy Provincial Party Secretary, Provincial Party Inspection Committee (consisting of 11 comrades) and Chairman of the Inspection Committee.

Along with the election of the Provincial Party Secretary, the conference elected Deputy Secretaries including: (1) Comrade Le Thanh Do - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term 2021-2026; (2) Comrade Ha Quang Trung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, term 2020-2025, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; (3) Comrade Mua A Vang - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee for the 2021-2026 term, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term.

Comrade Tran Tien Dung was born on March 7, 1975, his hometown is Thanh Nam Ward, Ninh Binh Province; he has a Master's degree in Law. He served as Deputy Minister of Justice (January 2016 - February 2019); Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau Province (February 2019 - May 2023); Deputy Minister of Justice (May 2023 - January 2025); Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee (January 2025 - June 2025); Deputy Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee (July 2025 - October 15, 2025).

The 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress took place from October 14 to 16, 2025 with the participation of 358 delegates, representing nearly 50,000 Party members in the whole province, and ended successfully, completing the set contents./.
