Comrade Tran Van Lau holds the position of Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030

On the morning of October 3, at the 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's decisions on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretaries of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

On the morning of October 3, at the 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo 's decisions on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretaries of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Comrade Le Minh Tri - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court presented flowers to congratulate the Party Executive Committee of Vinh Long province for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, the Politburo's Decision was announced to transfer and appoint comrade Tran Van Lau - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Announcing the decision to establish the Vinh Long Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 83 comrades; the Standing Committee consists of 24 comrades. Comrade Ho Thi Hoang Yen holds the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee include: Comrade Lam Minh Dang, Comrade Nguyen Minh Dung, Comrade Lu Quang Ngoi, Comrade Kim Ngoc Thai, Comrade Le Van Han.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Le Minh Tri - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court highly appreciated the preparation work of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the Congress. Although after the merger, the province had to focus on implementing many urgent and important tasks at the same time, but with high unity in ideology, awareness and action, the province has successfully completed the key tasks in the preparation work for the organization of the 1st Provincial Party Congress in accordance with the instructions, directions and guidance of the Central Committee.

Entering the new term, the 1st Congress of the Provincial Party Committee took place in the period when our country is on the journey to become a developing country with modern industry and high average income by 2030 and a developed country with high income by 2045. The new Vinh Long province after the merger has opened up a larger development space, but also set new requirements for development goals. In that context, the development direction of the province must converge 3 basic requirements: effectively exploiting specific potential advantages; thoroughly overcoming long-standing bottlenecks; flexibly adapting to the era of digital transformation, international integration and climate change.

With the goals, orientations and political determination of this Congress, I believe that under the leadership of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, with the solidarity, unanimity and determination of the entire Party Committee, the entire people and army in the province, and the attention and support of the Central Government, Vinh Long province will move forward, bringing Vinh Long province to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new era.
