According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on March 16, cold air continued to affect other places in the Northwest and Central Central regions, then affected some places in the South Central region. Inland, northeast wind level 3-4, coastal areas level 4-5, some places gust level 6.

The Northern and North Central regions are cold, with some mountainous areas in the North experiencing severe cold; the lowest temperature is commonly 13-17 degrees Celsius, and some high mountainous areas are below 10 degrees Celsius.

From the night of March 16, the area from Quang Binh to Hue will turn cold; lowest temperature 17-19 degrees.

At sea, the Gulf of Tonkin and the North East Sea will have northeast winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9, and rough seas. From the afternoon of March 16, the area from Quang Tri to Ba Ria - Vung Tau and the middle of the East Sea will have northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, and rough seas.

The Meteorological Agency warned that on the morning of March 16, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. On March 16, the North Central region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.

From Quang Binh to Khanh Hoa , there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places.

During thunderstorms there is a risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Da Nang - Binh Thuan

In the North, it is cloudy with rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; in the South, it is cloudy, sunny during the day, with scattered showers at night. East to northeast wind level 3-4, at night gusts to level 6 in some places. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
